Join your friends from Oregon’s Adventure Coast: Coos Bay, North Bend & Charleston for a feast of delicious Dungeness Crab at the 40th Annual Charleston Crab Feed!
At the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (OIMB) on Boat Basin Road from 11am to 3pm, 63466 Boat Basin Road, Charleston, OR 97420 - across from the Charleston Marine Life Center in the Marina Complex.
More than 900 pounds of Fresh Dungeness Crab will be served. Dinners - whole or half crabs at market price - include side dishes and a roll. Add a dessert for the perfect Oregon Coast meal, provided for donation by the Charleston Fishing Families. Area businesses provide items for raffle drawings. For those who want to attend but don’t want to eat crab, a gourmet hot dog lunch with sides will also be available.

Truly a Community Affair! The 900+ lb of crab is purchased from local Charleston crabbers. Chuck’s Seafood in Charleston processes the crab. The Charleston Fishing Families is serving dessert, and all proceeds from the desserts benefits that organization. South Slough Estuary and the Oregon Crab Commission will also be on hand with information. The Charleston Marine Life Center will be open all day!
This is the Main Fundraiser for the Charleston Visitors Center, but also provides assistance to other needs in the Charleston Community.
Businesses from Charleston, Coos Bay and North Bend support this event with donations. Make sure to get your raffle tickets when you arrive for a chance at a number of great prizes!
